Impress your business colleagues with these beautiful Embossed Leather Portfolios, hand made in California. The small company making these remarkable pieces dates from the 60's when the founder trained with a saddler. Teaming with his sister, an artist, the founder created leather goods in a variety of highly detailed designs, and developed a loyal following at the annual Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Marin. Their products can now be found in the finest shops, including Nordstrom's and Papyrus.
The portfolios are offered in five very different designs, each with its own color. Other designs include the Brown Oak Tree, Red Dragon, Blue Hokusai Wave, and Purple Fleur-de-lis. The Portfolio holds an 8.5" x 11" pad, and has three pockets for papers, notes and business cards, and includes a college ruled pad.
For the inauguration, Leftys sent the classic Black Celtic Knot portfolio to lefty President Obama as a gift. We hope it may have inspired him to address some of the country's knottier problems. |
