My hubby loves this box cutter. It's sharp and safe to use for a lefty, especially when compared to the one he was using before!

I purchased this on a whim from the store and it quickly became my "go to" tool.  Six months later, I HAD to get one for my Lefty father for Christmas!

5 of 5 A Lefty's Box Cutter December 14, 2013
Reviewer: Sarah Brown from Winter Haven, FL United States
I stumbled on to this item a few months after finding Lefty's and ordered two, one for me and one for my son.  I order most of my Christmas gifts on-line and this box cutter is the second most wonderful item I've bought from Lefty's.  (Scissors are the most wonderful item, of course.)  It now takes just a few seconds to open a box instead of minutes.  I expect it will also make quick work of those items that manufacturers put in that thick plastic bubble that takes ten minutes or so to break into.

5 of 5 It's about time! December 14, 2012

I used box cutters when I worked at a factory, and they were a pain for a lefty to use, not to mention unsafe. I just wasn't able to extend and retract the blade with one hand. For me it always took two hands, which meant switching a sharp blade from hand to hand, or else just not retracting the blade at all and leaving it out, both of which defeated the safety factor. So even a simple thing like this lefty safety blade makes it so much easier and safer for a lefty to use.
