This tape measure has a clip on the left side, and is designed to be worn on a lefty's belt, so they can pull out the tape with their left hand, and unclip the tape with their left hand. What Makes This Product Left-Handed?

  • What makes these items left handed?

    This tape measure is designed to be held in the left hand and pulled out to the right, then read from the right end back. Exactly the opposite of righty tape measures which lefties must read upside down. The ruler is also designed with right to left reading markings. The tailor's tape measure also reads right to left.

    Scissors are true left-handed shears with the blades reversed, and the grip designed for left-handed use. Very comfortable to use due to the soft grip. Lefties can see what they are cutting with these, and cutting is much more precise.

    The Pentel pen is formulated with quick-drying ink.

The  people I purchased the gift sets for were both very happy.  For one a period of curiosity preceded their happiness because they had never come across left handed products.  The sudden realization he wasn't looking at the tape measure upside down brought a smile and an an exclamation of appreciation.
    Generally we lefties just take for granted the way we adapt to right handed products and give little thought to it. When we get left handed products we usually quickly appreciate them.
    My wife one time went to throw my scissors out because they didn't work right.  I told her welcome to my world.  
     The lefty in your life will probably enjoy the gesture even if they too may be confused by the product at first.

This was a gift for my husband and he loves it.  He especially loves the scissors and belt tape measure.  He said he used to get his hand gouged because of regular scissors and these scissors work great.  Using regular tape measures and rulers, he had to read the numbers upside down, and now he doesn't have that problem.  He thanks me every time he uses these items.
