Description

Teach your little lefty to tie their shoes with our fun and colorful shoe tie card. If your lefty has trouble learning to tie shoe laces, you are not alone!

This large playful glossy card has perforations in the picture of the shoe, and comes with a real lace for practice. It has step-by-step illustrations around the large picture of the shoe, making it easy and fun to help your lefty learn this tricky skill. On the back side are portraits of famous lefties with stories about their achievements.

Features
  • What makes this tie card left-handed?
  • Lefties do not tie their shoes like right-handers. The tying is reversed, and this makes it very difficult for right-handed parents to teach their kids. This card is designed so that parents who are lefties or righties can easily work with their kids following the illustrations, and help them practice until it becomes second nature.

I never even thought that my lefty child's brain would not view shoe tying the same way as me. He has been struggling with this skill for some time. After a week of practicing on the card, he almost has it down.  Bonus: the cool facts in famous lefty people,

a huge help February 17, 2014
Reviewer: Shannon Martin from Colorado Springs, CO United States
My son had been struggling to tie his shoes because everyone looked backwards to him.  We ordered this and within 30 minutes he was tying his own shoes.  He still has a long way to go get them tight; but he learned quickly with the very detailed illustrations. Shipping was also lightening fast. We'll be customers for life!

As a righty parent it can be challenging to convert things to a lefty perspective. The instructions are clear and it's just the right size for little fingers.
