One of several left handed kitchen tools handmade in the USA by Mark Hamm. This large spatula is great for pancakes, hamburgers or any other large flipping by a lefty cook. Carved with care and precision from beautiful, velvet smooth, cherry wood. Cherry is hard and very strong, with a tight grain, so that it can be elegantly shaped and yet lightweight.
Hamm's designs come from a traditional American woodworkers approach, in which all hand tools were made on the farm for the specific user's requirements. Hamm's family has had a relationship with farming and woodworking since colonial times. Hamm views his craft as a continuation of 2-1/2 centuries of American farming and woodworking.
