For 45 years I had one pair of southpaw-friendly scissors for use at home.  They were great and still are.  Then I added a pair of kitchen shears—excellent!  And now I've added a couple of spares in case I misplace the older pair.  Nice to have backups.

And now, at last, I can give the now 47-year-old pair a few days off to be sharpened....
